Mijas Pueblo
Mijas is approximately 30 minutes from Malaga airport. Nestled in the mountains five miles from the coast Mijas is one of the most popular places to visit in the costa del sol area.

The more adventurous can wonder the side streets and see the ‘real' andalusian village, with the original stone houses, alleyways and plazas. 
No visit to Mijas is complete without a ride through its streets and plazas on one of the famous ‘burro taxis'. Those not sure of their equilibrium can ride in a tiny donkey cart or even one of the elegant horse carriages.

Mijas donkeys are world famous and have appeared in many films and on television.

There are number of shops, bars and restaurants to suit a variety of appetites and budgets.

After a day ofAfter a day of exploring the Mijas, why not have a sunset dinner overlooking Fuengirola and the mediteranean sea.

By Train: RENFE

By Road:

Access from Malaga through the highway- autovía del Sol. Enter by Fuengirola and take the MA- 409 towards Mijas village. From Marbella via the N-340 Road- take the MA-409 towards Mijas. From Benalmádena village take the Benalmádena-Mijas-Coín Road (MA-485).
Valtocado
Valtocado is less than 10 minutes from Mijas by car and is in a beautiful area of the hills.

There are amazing views ranging from the mountains down to the Mediterranean sea, with a variety of large and small villas dotted around.
